Emotional goodbye: Amy's father Mitch Winehouse was consoled outside the Golders Green Crematorium in North London
Mitch Winehouse paid an emotional tribute to his daughter Amy today as her friends and family came together for her funeral.
Telling stories about her childhood and how happy she'd been recently, Mitch ended his eulogy telling his daughter: 'Goodnight, my angel. Sleep tight.'
Among those paying their respects to the tragic star - who died at her London home aged 27 on Saturday - was her entire family, friends Kelly Osbourne, Mark Ronson and her music 'family' including her backing singers and manager.
Mummy and Daddy love you ever so much: Amy's parents arrive at the crematorium after the funeral service
A convoy of black vehicles with tinted windows silently made its way inside the Edgwarebury Cemetery in north London this lunchtime for the private funeral service.
Amy's spokesman Chris Goodman said: 'Mitch was funny, he told some great stories from her childhood. It was a celebration. He stressed many times that she had been more content than she had been in years. Mitch paid tribute to a lot of people from Amy's life.'
Talking about her boyfriend, film director Reg Traviss, he added: 'Mitch said that they were very much looking forward to their future together.'
Sibling sorrow: Amy's brother Alex followed their parents into the crematorium
Alfie Ezikiel, 55, from London said that around 150 guests had attended Amy Winehouse's funeral.
He added: 'Mitch's last words to Amy in his eulogy were "Goodnight my angel. Sleep tight. Mummy and Daddy love you ever so much."
'In the days before her death she told Mitch she was very happy, satisfied and content in her life. Janice was fine but she didn't do a eulogy.'
The service started with prayers, they read a meditation, Mitch gave a eulogy and there were final prayers.
The last song that was played at the ceremony was Carole King's hit So Far Away which was Amy's favourite song.
2My darling: Amy's boyfriend Reg Traviss walks alone away from the service
Another guest said: 'Mitch said "Amy will be carried in peoples' hearts". There is such a big and strong community that will be looking after the family and Mitch is a very strong guy.'
Amy was then cremated at the Golders Green Crematorium in north London after the service.
Family spokesman Chris Goodman said only family members and close friends would be present and added: 'Cremation is part of the family's tradition.'
Shiva - the Jewish ceremony of bereavement - will be observed for two days starting at 5pm today at the Schinder Hall at Southgate Progressive Synagogue.
Saying goodbye: Kelly Osbourne - wearing a beehive in tribute to her friend - and friend Remi Nicole arrive at Amy Winehouse's funeral this afternoon
Kelly, one of Amy's best friends, had flown into the UK from Los Angeles as soon as she heard the news about her death.
Her face was solemn as she was driven into the cemetery and she appeared to have paid tribute to her friend by styling her hair in a beehive do, similar to Amy's trademark style.
Winehouse's bandmates, Zalon and Heshima Thompson, who were seen in tears outside her home yesterday, were also among the select group.
In mourning: Producer and DJ Mark Ronson made his way to the service on foot as did Amy's friend Nick Grimshaw
Her singer songwriter friend Remi Nicole, who was very close to the star, was in tears as she got out of her car and Amy's manager Raye Cosbert cut a solemn figure as he joined the funeral party.
Kelly hid her eyes behind large dark 50s-style sunglasses and clutched a white rose in her hands.
She was followed into the service by another of Amy's close friends, DJ and producer Mark Ronson, who looked deep in thought as he arrived on foot alone.
There was a heavy security presence outside the cemetery as guests made their way inside.
One person not attending today was Amy's ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who, according to sources, was refused compassionate leave from Armley Prison in Leeds.
Her final journey: More than 200 mourners came to say goodbye to Amy, who died at her home aged 27 on Saturday
Brave face: Dionne Bromfield, Amy's goddaughter, holds back her tears as she leaves the service
How did you know Amy? Kelly clutches a drink as she chats to fellow mourners outside the crematorium
Taking it all in: Following the funeral Amy's goddaughter Dionne Bromfield went to visit the shrine to the singer outside the north London home
For Amy: Hundreds of fans and friends of the singer had placed tributes, flowers, cards and even cans of beer and bottles of vodka outside her London home
Crowds: Fans of the late singer gathered in their hundreds outside the Golders Green Crematorium to pay their last respects
Celebrating her life: Friends and family gathered together at Southgate centre for Judaism to celebrate Amy's life
Remembering the good times: Amy's goddaughter Dionne Bromfield shared a joke with a friend as Amy's family and friends celebrated her life

"OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL" BEGINS PRODUCTION IN MICHIGAN
Walt Disney Pictures’ fantastical adventure “Oz The Great and Powerful,” directed by Sam Raimi, went in front of the cameras at the brand-new Raleigh Studios in Pontiac, Michigan, on Monday, July 25, 2011, boasting a stellar cast that includes Academy Award® nominee James Franco (“127 Hours”) as the young wizard, Golden Globe® nominee Mila Kunis (“Black Swan”) as the witch Theodora, Academy Award® winner Rachel Weisz (“The Constant Gardener”) as Kunis’ sister Evanora and two-time Oscar®-nominated actress Michelle Williams (“Brokeback Mountain,” “Blue Valentine”) as Glinda, the Good Witch.
The cast also includes Emmy® and Golden Globe® nominee Zach Braff (“Scrubs,” “Garden State”), who will play Franco’s circus assistant as well as lend his vocal talents to one of the CGI creatures in the story — Finley, the winged monkey who accompanies the magician on his journey to Oz; and 12-year-old actress Joey King (“Ramona and Beezus”), who will voice another CGI character in the story, China Girl, who also joins the futureWizard on his excursion through Oz.
“Oz The Great and Powerful” imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved character, the Wizard of Oz. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.
The film will be produced by industry veteran Joe Roth, along with executive producers Grant Curtis (the “Spider-Man” trilogy, “Drag Me to Hell”), Philip Steuer (“The Chronicles of Narnia” series) and Palak Patel. The screenplay was written by Mitchell Kapner, (“The Whole Nine Yards”) and David Lindsay-Abaire (“Rabbit Hole,” “Robots”).
Raimi has assembled his own band of technical wizards and movie magicians on the project, which includes cinematographer Peter Deming (“Mulholland Dr.,” “Drag Me to Hell”), two-time Academy Award®–winning production designer Robert Stromberg (“Alice in Wonderland,” “Avatar”), Oscar®-winning film editor Bob Murawski (“The Hurt Locker,” the “Spider-Man” trilogy), veteran Oscar®-nominated costume designer Gary Jones (“Spider-Man 2,” “The Talented Mr. Ripley”), visual effects Oscar® winner Scott Stokdyk (“Spider-Man 2,” “Spider-Man”) and Academy Award®–winning special makeup artist Howard Berger (“The Chronicles of Narnia” series), who will create the looks of several of the unique denizens of Oz, including creatures such as the Whimsies, the Tinkers and the Winkies, as well as the ghastly look of the Wicked Witch of the West.
Production on “Oz The Great and Powerful” will take place entirely on site at the new Raleigh Michigan Studios, the 200,000 square foot sound stage facility in Pontiac, Michigan, once the location of General Motors’ Centerpoint business campus and truck manufacturing plant.
“Oz The Great and Powerful” will be released through Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on March 8, 2013.

'The baby is currently on a positive pressure ventilator (PPV) to assist with his breathing but doctors are very positive and Jamie and Danielle are very thankful to the medical team for all they are doing.
'The couple have decided on the name Harry James O'Hara for their new son. Finally, they have been overwhelmed and are grateful for all the kind messages of support that they have received.'
The couple became parents for the first time in July 2010 when they welcomed Archie into the world.

'Things are perfectly amicable,' Peter Andre says he shook hands with Katie Price's beau Leandro at their son's sports day
By Sarah Bull
Hair-raising: Katie Price appears to have taken inspiration from Jedward
He may be lying through gritted teeth, but Peter Andre claims 'things are perfectly amicable' between him and Katie Price's new boyfriend.
The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestant, who met his ex-wife on the jungle reality show, even told fans via his magazine column that Leandro Penna seemed like 'a very nice man'.
Unfortunately the trio aren't quite at the stage where they all dined out together, instead bumping into each other at Junior's sports day.
New look: Katie debuted the style as she headed to London's Cafe De Paris to film more scenes for her TV talent show
Pete wrote in new!: 'There was a story in the press last week saying that I met my ex-wife at Junior's sports day and that I shook hands with her new boyfriend Leandro. This is true.
'We were both there to support our son on his special day and things were perfectly amicable.
'My children always come first and I would never have it any other way.'
And while it momentarily seemed like everything is finally hunkydory, Pete couldn't resist a quick quip.
He added: 'Leandro seemed like a very nice man, although, to be honest, I only met him very briefly.'
Meanwhile, Katie has been busy experimenting with a new hairdo.
Yesterday she opted for a hair-raising new look as she and Leandro headed to London's Cafe De Paris to film for her new TV talent show.
The 33-year-old model appeared to have taken inspiration from The X Factor's John and Edward Grimes, aka Jedward, with her extraordinarily high blonde quiff.
The 'do was equally as eye-catching from the side and behind, as Katie's long blonde hair had been swept up into a mass of tumbling curls.
Katie teamed her Jedward-style quiff with a plain grey jumper, white shorts and silver UGG boots as she made her way into the venue.
Her Argentinian boyfriend, meanwhile, wore a pair of distressed jeans, a blue shirt and black jacket.
Inspiration: X Factor duo John and Edward Grimes, aka Jedward, became famous thanks to their massive quiffs and catchy songs
Katie has been spending a lot of time in London in recent weeks working on her modelling-based television programme.
Discovered by Katie Price, which will air on Sky Living this autumn, will see Katie set up Black Sheep Management modelling agency to find a model who ‘will break the mould’.
The show is being filmed for Sky Living and hopes to use Miss Price's knowledge, gained from 15 years in the business, to find exciting new talent.
Feeling sleepy? Leandro closes his eyes as Katie continues to glare at the camera
Fun day out: Katie was accompanied by boyfriend Leandro Penna as she arrived at the venue
Is he responsible for Jedward creation? Jordan's hairdresser Gary Cockerill is pictured in the taxi with the couple
According to the website: 'Katie's on the hunt for "the next big thing" to sign to a new talent agency. The winner will get a year long contract, personal mentoring from Katie and loads of other fabulous prizes.'
But it isn't just her TV show which is keeping Katie busy.
On Wednesday, the mother-of-three will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the biggest book signing as she launches her new novel The Comeback Girl at the O2 Academy in Leeds.
Talking about the challenge, Katie said: 'I'm so looking forward to trying to break the Guinness Book of Records title on Wednesday. I'm a bit nervous - who wouldn't be? - but Random House challenged me so I thought, why not, I'll give it a go.
'You know me, I can't resist a challenge. It'll be great fun whatever happens. And I've got an amazing outfit to show everyone. See you there!'

Crystal Harris: Sex with Hef Lasted 'Two Seconds'
Crystal Harris is clearly ready to move on from her ex-fiance Hugh Hefner. But before she does she's going to take a few more low blows at him and make sure she goes off the radar as classless as possible.
This morning on Sirius XM Radio's Howard Stern Show she told the world that sex with her 85-year-old beau only lasted "like two seconds. Then I was just over it," Crystal continued. "I was like, 'Ahhh.' I was over it. I just like, walked away. I'm not turned on by Hef, sorry."
And, they only had sex one time - ever. "He doesn't really take off his clothes," Harris said. "I've never seen Hef naked."
Now that Harris and Hefner are officially over, she's spending a great deal of time with Dr. Phil's son Jordan McGraw -- the man she had been rumored to have been dating the whole time she was dating and planning to wed Hef.
Their most recent outing was at Knave, an upscale and dimly lit bar at Le Parker Meridien in NYC. "Crystal was drinking mojitos and laughing, and Jordan was sipping a drink on the rocks. Once their friends left, they really settled in and seemed more and more comfortable."
Back to School Countdown: 7 days, 7 ways to make the most of the final week
7 Days, 7 Ways to Get Set for the New School Year

Day 1 – Refresh the calendar
The school year is chock-full of calendar events: school functions, athletic events, classroom parties, library due dates, gym days, music lessons and parent-teacher conferences. Get a calendar to record everything so you aren’t tracking down flyers, paper schedules, emails and notes from school for your day-to-day planning. Cozi makes it easy with an online calendar that the whole family can access either online or via their mobile phone (iPhone, Android, BlackBerry) so families have their to-do lists at their fingertips no matter where they are. Even better, you can sync your Cozi calendar with school district event calendars and your home calendars.Cozi lets you send reminders and agendas to keep everyone on the same page.
Day 2 – Inventory the kids’ closets
You don’t have to go on a huge shopping spree, but make sure each child has enough clothes for the first few weeks of school. Go through the kids’ closets, dressers and storage bins of clothes. Then make it fun by having a “fashion show” to find out which clothes fit which kids and who needs to buy what. This saves money and time since you aren’t heading out to buy new outfits for a child who can now wear an older sibling’s jeans that are still in good condition.
Day 3 – Create a morning checklist for the kids
Ever get frustrated that you have to remind the kids of seemingly basic tasks (brush your teeth, get dressed, get your backpack together) every single morning? Thought so! Put it all on a list and hand it over to the kids to use each morning. You can stop nagging because the responsibility of completing the list becomes the child’s. Just don't allow play time or TV time until the tasks are done. (Here's our morning checklist on Cozi: http://www.cozi.com/ live-simply/school-morning- checklist)
Day 4 – Set up the time-to-go area
This is for backpacks, homework projects, shoes, coats, lunch sacks and anything else besides the clothes on their back needed to get out the door. Have the kids ALWAYS store these items in the time-to-go area and make sure it’s all there before they go to bed. It might take some time to get everyone in the habit, but getting out the door without a last-minute scramble for the hat your son can't leave without is well worth it.
Day 5 – Set up the homework routine
Will there be a dedicated homework area? When will homework get done – right after school, anytime before bed or in the morning before school for early birds? Letting the kids know what you expect for where, when and how homework gets done means fewer daily struggles over the task.
Day 6 – Make a list of favorite family meals
With summer’s end comes more structure to the evening schedule. One of the best things you can do to make the daily dinner decision easier is to keep a list of go-to meals that are easy to make and the whole family loves. Go a step further and plan out two weeks of family dinners so you don’t have to decide each day what’s for dinner during those busy first weeks of school. And you’ll end up with a treasure chest of ideas for the future when 5 o’clock rolls around and you haven’t a clue what to make.
Day 7 – Decide what you’ll do with schoolwork and art
Otherwise, you might end up with huge bins of papers and art projects that you couldn’t bring yourself to throw out the day they came home. Some ideas: keep one piece of art or school item for each child each week, use one container for the year and limit what you save to what fits in the container, display new art as it comes home in easy-to-use frames or with clips.
