On the mend: As Danielle Lloyd tweets picture of Harry's tiny hand, she reveals her premature son is doing 'much better'

By Daily Mail Reporter

Tiny: Danielle Lloyd tweets a picture of her son Harry's minature hand, after he was born ten weeks early

Despite barely being able to see his hand without a magnifying glass, Danielle Lloyd insists her premature son is making progress.

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant posted a picture of Harry's tiny paw clutching her finger on Twitter today.

His little pink claw looked minute as it wrapped around mummy, with the first signs of his nails forming.

Danielle wrote: Just to let everyone know Harry is doing a lot better this week he is finally breathing by himself! So happy such a massive step X'

She then uploaded the photograph, adding: 'Here is Harry holding my little finger!!! He is so tiny....Xxx'

Life hung in the balance for Danielle and fiancé Jamie O'Hara's son when he was born on July 13.

Their new addition to the family was born ten weeks early, weighing in at just 4lb 4oz.

He was immediately put on a ventilator to assist with his breathing, but doctors remained positive from the start.

A spokesperson said at the time: 'Baby O'Hara has been moved to a special Neonatal Unit at a hospital sixty minutes from Danielle and Jamie's home in the Midlands.

'The baby is currently on a positive pressure ventilator (PPV) to assist with his breathing but doctors are very positive and Jamie and Danielle are very thankful to the medical team for all they are doing.

'The couple have decided on the name Harry James O'Hara for their new son. Finally, they have been overwhelmed and are grateful for all the kind messages of support that they have received.'

The couple became parents for the first time in July 2010 when they welcomed Archie into the world.

Genius, but Amy's was not a life to admire

By AMANDA PLATELL

A friend of Amy Winehouse conceded after she drank herself to death on Saturday that, yes she had her problems, but ‘she never did anyone any harm’.

If only that were true. The packets of cigarettes and bottles of vodka, beer and rum left outside her home in Camden, North London, by adoring fans bear testimony to how much she affected vulnerable young people.

Along with flowers and farewell notes, this was their way of saying goodbye to a woman they worshipped and emulated — not just because she was a musical genius, but also, I suspect, because of her car-crash lifestyle.

How tragic that her fans think a bottle of Smirnoff is a fitting farewell to a woman they loved — for it was vodka that killed her.

Or that a packet of cigarettes was an appropriate offering to leave at this shrine, given she suffered from emphysema, a smoking-related lung disease.

Amy’s love of vodka was legendary. Even in her hard-drinking, rock  ’n’  roll set, no one had ever seen anyone drink so much of it so fast. In her final few weeks, she had been found comatose several times by her bodyguards after binges.

How can her lifestyle be seen as glamorous after she died in such terrible and lonely circumstances?

I’m not sure what’s saddest: that this recovering drug addict was annihilating herself with spirits, having been ‘clean of drugs’ — so her father says — for 18 months; or that it was not a friend, lover, mother or any other family member who found her body, but a security guard, someone paid to watch over her.

We’ve come a long way from the days after Princess Diana’s death when people left carpets of flowers outside Kensington Palace. Today, it’s bottles of the vodka that killed their heroine.

Amy’s music was so resonant not just because of her talent, but because she sang of her isolation and pain.

This was a young woman who came from a broken home and whose relationships always seemed to result in despair.

Her very public solution to easing this pain was to take drugs and to drink. Her life was a lesson in self-destruction. The tragedy is that it wasn’t just for her, but for countless other young women who hero-worshipped her.

The result was that, for the vulnerable and impressionable, I fear Amy Winehouse made crack cocaine cool. She made alcoholism attractive. She made abusive, violent relationships exciting.

Even when her ballet pumps were covered in blood after she’d injected heroin between her toes or when she was photographed battered and bruised after yet another encounter with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, young women empathised with her.One obituary said: ‘Rock stars act out our wildest desires and darkest dramas on our behalf so we do not have to.’

Would that it always were the case. After all, if Amy Winehouse could get hammered and out of her head yet still tour the world and make millions, what was the problem with her lifestyle?

For an answer, you have only to visit any High Street on a Saturday night to find countless wasted young women so drunk they don’t care what man they go off with, so out of their heads on drugs they’re anyone’s.

And why should they think this is anything other than normal behaviour when their idol Amy Winehouse downed six shots of tequila for breakfast?

For all her talent, she was a role model of the worst kind. And her eight years in the music business mirror a shocking increase in alcohol among women.

Figures published in 2009 showed 250 girls were arrested every day for violence, mostly fuelled by alcohol. One in four were aged between ten and 17.

In the years Amy was a star, a generation of ladettes was born, out of their heads and out of control, but thinking they were oh-so-cool.

Strung up on you! Lucy Mecklenburgh and beau Mario Falcone indulge in hammock hanky-panky

By SARAH BULL

Strung up on you: Lucky Mecklenburgh and her boyfriend Mario Falcone couldn't keep their hands off each other as they sat in a hammock

Relaxing in the sunshine swinging on a hammock and with her doting boyfriend on hand to offer cool refreshments, Lucy Mecklenburgh was certainly living the life in the Costa del Sol.

The TOWIE star showed off her incredible figure in a pretty pink triangle bikini and she looked so good it was hardly surprising that her beau Mario Falcone couldn't resist joining her in the string sling.

The couple were seen kissing and canoodling in the hammock before their amorous behaviour proved too much and the pair lost their balance, leaving Lucy lying on the grass.

Hammock hanky-panky: Lucy and Mario certainly got into the swing of things before gravity got the better of them and they started to fall out

Lucy and Mario couldn't keep their hands off each other all day as they made the most of the sunny weather.

And who could blame Mario when Lucy was looking in such great shape - showing off the effects of her bootcamp stint in Ibiza last month.

The pair certainly made an attractive couple, as Mario also left people jealous with his muscly physique, which he displayed in a pair of bright yellow swimming shorts.

Floored: Despite her boyfriend's best efforts to keep her on the hammock the TOWIE star fell out and was seen lying on the floor in fits of giggles

Lucy teamed her two-piece with a pair of tan wedges and some tiny denim shorts, which she later removed to ensure an even all-over tan.

And Mario certainly appeared to be enjoying the view, helping Lucy adjust her bikini bottoms as she readjusted herself on the sunlounger.

What a gent! Mario kept his girlfriend hydrated during their break, bringing her drinks as she lay in the hammock

I like your one better! Mario and Lucy switch cocktails as they try and decide which one they like best

She said: ‘Everyone’s gone a bit hardcore trying to lose weight for the next series.'
And, after losing 7lbs during her week-long stay, Lucy said she was thrilled with the results.

She tweeted: 'Leaving ibiza @no1bootcamp 2day woo! Weigh in this morning i have lost half a stone & 2 inches from my waist & hips! .. & i feel AMAZIN!x'

Lucy later added: 'I came to @no1bootcamp 2 tone up,feel healthier & build strength\stamina & i have defo acheived that! Still got my curves!! x'

Helen Flanagan shows off her curves in a low-cut skintight dress as her Coronation Street character Rosie starts modelling

By Daily Mail Reporter

Model behaviour: Helen Flanagan pouts for the camera in this shot taken behind the scenes of the Coronation Street set

She has been criticised in the past for drawing attention to herself with some truly awful outfits.

But yesterday Helen Flanagan ensured all eyes were on her for quite another reason as she posed in an incredibly sexy low-cut dress while shooting scenes for Coronation Street/

The 20-year-old actress certainly appeared to be enjoying herself as she piled on the dark lipstick and pouted for the camera.

And the picture, posted on Twitter by Manchester-based stylist Collette Casey, is just the start of things to come as Helen's character Rosie Webster begins her modelling career.

Helen is currently in London filming her three-part spin-off show, Just Rosie, alongside co-star Ryan Thomas, who plays her boyfriend Jason Grimshaw.

The special episodes, which will air on ITV.com in September, will show Rosie attempting to make it as a model after she lands a job on Lorraine Kelly's morning TV show.

Tight fit: Helen had earlier stepped out in tight and unflattering jeggings as she arrived at the Corrie studios

But she ends up in a catfight with a rival which turns her into an internet sensation, she then appears as a guest on on Loose Women before being interviewed by Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon on Capital Radio.

Announcing the spin-off earlier this month, a Coronation Street spokesman said: 'This is a great opportunity for fans of Coronation Street to watch extra exclusive content on ITV.com that links back into the main show on ITV1.'

Helen's sexy dress was in sharp contrast to the unflattering outfit she wore as she arrived at the Coronation Street studios yesterday.

Clingy: Helen looked as though she'd had trouble getting into the legwear as she tottered into work

The jeggings - which have been an unlikely fashion hit - clung to her curves in all the wrong places and did nothing for her bottom as she gave the cameras a view form behind.

And if they weren't bad enough, she teamed them with bright orange wedged sandals, a white T-shirt and jacket and a cream handbag.

Helen also looked rather orange, the result of one too many spray tans.

She even confirmed this as she took to her Twitter page two days ago after lunch with her footballer beau Scoot Sinclair.

Nice to meet you! Helen laughed along with a fan who had stopped her to get an autograph

See ya! Helen waves goodbye to the fan - and the cameras - as she heads into work

She wrote: 'Sea bass and mozzarella and Rose wine at Alderly Edge bar and grill and my 3rd spray tan of the week.'

This promoted a couple of her followers to comment with one saying: '3rd spray tan? I've had one and I'm dark enough!.'

But clearly three fake tan sessions were not enough for the young actress, who wrote on her Twitter page last night: 'Just had my nails and tan done ready for photoshoot.'

Could she Bey any more stunning? Beyoncé pulls a series of raunchy poses in a photoshoot for her new album, 4

By Marcus Barnes

High end: The photoshoot was more like the kind you might expect to find in a fashion magazine

She's a global pin up with a legion of fans, both female and male.

So Beyoncé will make a lot of people very happy with these stunning new shots, taken to promote her new album, 4.

The singer, 30, who created an alter-ego named Sasha Fierce for her last album, oozes sex appeal in the new photos - shot by Parisian photographer Greg Gex in the French capital.

And Sasha Fierce appears to be back and in full effect for the slick set of new shots.

In each of the photos, which are more akin to a high-end editorial shoot than the kind you might expect for an album promo, Beyoncé pulls a seductive pose.

In one shot she reclines on a bed wearing a ruffled yellow top, bright blue strappy heels and very little else it seems.

Seeming to channel her alter-ego she stares into the camera seductively while holding the receiver of a retro telephone to her ear.

In another the singer, who is married to rap mogul Jay-Z, wears a strange pair of towering Lady Gaga-esque shoes, with odd-shaped heels in the middle of the sole, while posing on the roof of her hotel Le Meurice.

Bootylicious: The singer gives a sneak peek at her infamous rear in another of the raunchy shots

With her back to the camera and wearing a short, slashed dress one of her most famous assets, the Bootylicious singer's rear, is accentuated to devastating effect.

In another shot, also taken on the hotel roof, Beyoncé faces the camera - again pulling a fierce pose as her alter-ego is unleashed yet again.

This time around she wears a puffed up wrap around her shoulders and a feathered corset with a patterned leotard and strapped up knee-high boots.

Don't hang up: Beyoncé reclines on a bed staring in the camera seductiively as she poses with a retro telephone

In a fourth shot she run her hands through her hair wearing a halterneck blue dress with intricate detailing around the neck and chest area.

The sultry set of shots was taken for her forthcoming album 4, which is her first long player release since I Am... Sasha Fierce in 2008.

Earlier this month Beyoncé performed as the headline act at the Glastonbury festival, which she followed with a more intimate album showcase at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire the next day.

Fierce: Beyoncé poses for one of a series of stunning photos taken by Parisian photographer Greg Gex to promote her new album 4

The show was attended by the cream of British talent including Adele, Jessie J and Tinie Tempah.

As well as her successful music career, Beyoncé has also carved out a flourishing career in acting.

Her latest role is lead star in Clint Eastwood's remake of A Star Is Born.

Speaking about landing the role, Beyoncé couldn't hide her excitement and joy at following in the footsteps of Barbra Streisand and Judy Garland.

She told Reuters: 'It's when I became a fan of Barbra Streisand's. And I then saw Judy Garland's version of A Star Is Born, and I realized every 20 to 30 years, a new star is born and a new talent represents that generation and era — so I didn't think that I would ever get the opportunity to be the star.'

It has yet to be confirmed who will play opposite the singer, but it has been rumored that Leonardo DiCaprio may snag the role for the Warner Bros. film. Shooting is set to begin at the end of the year.

True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard sets pulses racing as he bares his muscular body in racy scenes

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Sexy: In stills from hit HBO series True Blood, Alexander Skarsgard is seen emerging from a lake nearly naked

It is know as one of the sexiest series on television with its racy plot lines and sultry scenes.

And a recent episode of cult vampire series True Blood certainly didn't disappoint.

In stills for the show, 34-year-actor Alexander Skarsgard is seen emerging from the water near naked, his fangs in full effect.

Fit: With water merely covering his lower body, the 36-year-old shows off his toned torso and biceps

With water merely covering his lower body, the actor, who plays lead character Eric Northman, shows off his toned torso and abdominal muscles.

The sexy snap is from an episode titled 'I'm Alive And On Fire', which aired over on Sunday night in the U.S.

In one of the scenes, Skarsgard is seen emerging from the lake with help from the show's female protagonist Sookie Stakehouse, played by Anna Paquin.

Bloodsucker: The actor, who plays Eric Northman in the series, is seen with his fangs in full effect

Even more muscles are seen in the form of two of the show's other male stars, Australian actor Ryan Kwanten who plays the role of Jason Stackhouse, and Joe Manganiello who plays werewolf, Alcide.

Sookie (Paquin) is seen enlisting the help of Alcide (Manganiello), who is also seen naked, his ripping abdominal muscles on show.

Meanwhile Jason (Kwanten) kills the Felton Norris, the front-man in the Norris family drug business, after he escapes from HotShot where he had been taken captive.

Ripped: Actor Joe Manganiello, who plays werewolf Alcide, also puts his impressive abdominal muscles on show as he shares a scene with Anna Paquin, who plays the show's female protagonist Sookie Stackhouse

Built: Manganiello also flaunts his toned chest in the scenes from the show

Twice as nice: Barely clothed Manganiello and Skarsgard are seen in a scene together

In trouble: Ryan Kwanten, who plays Sookie's brother Jason Stackhouse, is seen tied to a bed with wounds covering his bare body

Lucky break: He is later seen covered in blood after making an escape

'I like the way that in America you walk into a coffee shop and the girl asks how your day is,' he told GQ in a recent interview.

'When I first moved here I loved that. I know it's shallow and superficial and she doesn't give a f**k about my day, but I still like it,' he said.

'Sweden is a lot more reserved,' he added.

It's difficult to get to know a Swede but once you do you're in.'

The 6,4' tall actor said he thinks Swedish people have a stronger sense of privacy and boundaries

Hunk: Later in the episode, Skarsgard is once again seen shirtless once he has been rescued and dried off

His father Stellan Skarsgard, 59, is one of the most famous actors in Sweden and has starred in Pirates of the Caribbean, Hunt for Red October, Mamma Mia! and Thor.

It looks like Alexander is also headed for the big time - but he says he'll never put his personal life on show.

'You're never going to see a TV show called The Skarsgards,' he said.

'Will's fit mum' delights the boys again as Inbetweeners star Belinda Stewart-Wilson strips off for sexy photo shoot

By Georgina Littlejohn

Window display: Inbetweeners star Belinda Stewart-Wilson - or 'Will's fit mum' - shows off her stunning curvaceous figure for a sexy shoot for Loaded magazine

She's the yummy mummy that mortifies her teenage son but more than delights his hormone-raging friends.

And The Inbetweeners star Belinda Stewart-Wilson will soon be back in the boys affections again - especially if she dresses like this.

The actress, 40, posed for a number of very sexy shots for men's magazine Loaded in little more than her underwear.

In one she sits across a window sill in just a bra, knickers and towering black heels while in the other, her curves in a black lingerie set peek out from a black mac.

Belinda is best known as Polly McKenzie, more commonly known as 'Will's fit mum'.
And she will be back, this time on the big screen, in the Inbetweeners movie.

Hello boys: Belinda covers up - but only just - in a black mac

Speaking to Loaded, Belinda says the boys were very behaved towards her, nothing like they are on-screen.

She said: 'Quite the opposite, actually. I remember on the first episode of the first series, James Buckley swore in front of me and looked horrified and said, "Oh, I’m so sorry, I didn’t realise you were in the room."

'I was absolutely horrified by that and said, "Please tell me you’re joking." It was an odd dynamic at the beginning. They were a lot younger and I was playing a parent so there was a lot of banter between them that they excluded us from. It got better though. By the end of the show they were just essentially showing off for us.'

The third and final series of the popular - and very rude - Channel 4 show came to an end in October last year.

But if the pubescent, disgusting and sometimes bordering on derogatory antics of Will (Simon Bird), Simon (Joe Thomas), Jay (James Buckley) and Neil (Blake Harrison) weren't enough for some fans, there's plenty more to come.

Due for release next month, the movie follows the four friends as they go on a lads' holiday to Greece after Simon gets dumped by Carlyi (Emily Head), the love of his life and much fun and games and embarrassing situations ensue.

The film sees the return of supporting cast members Greg Davies, who plays their headmaster Mr Gilbert and Emily Atack as Charlotte.

The shoot and a behind-the-scenes look at the movie is in this month's exclusive Inbetweeners edition of Loaded, out now.

Cheryl Cole asks Ashley to leave Chelsea behind and move to Los Angeles with her

By Katie Nicholl

EDITED BY CHARLOTTE GRIFFITHS

If Ashley Cole is going to rekindle his relationship with former wife Cheryl, he will have to pay a hefty price.

Cheryl wants him to abandon his £6 million-a-year contract with Chelsea and join her in Los Angeles, where she is having another stab at establishing herself as a major star.

Although Ashley, 30, is trying desperately to woo back Cheryl after their painful divorce last year, friends say it is the Girls Aloud singer who is now calling the shots.

Calling the shots: Cheryl Cole has asked her former husband, footballer Ashley, to leave Chelsea Football Blub and move to Los Angeles

‘Cheryl has told Ashley that her plan is to work on her solo music in the United States,’ says a source.

‘She says that if he wants to be with her, he would have to be prepared to break his £120,000-a-week deal with Chelsea and play for an American team instead.

‘Ashley has told her he would do virtually anything for her but this could be asking a little too much. He is still at the peak of his game – it would be career suicide for him to move to the US at this stage.’

California dreams: Cheryl pictured with her Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh in Los Angeles last week

The couple’s four-year marriage disintegrated after Ashley’s infidelities came to light.

But reports of them getting back together gathered pace after he jetted back from a holiday in New York earlier this month to attend Cheryl’s 28th birthday party.

The singer is currently in America with her Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh and her brother Gary.

She has also held a series of meetings with her ex, dancer Derek Hough.

Although a spokesman last night refused to be drawn on Cheryl’s personal life, a source said: ‘Cheryl wants to resuscitate her profile in Hollywood, but she is focusing on her musical career for the time being.’

If Ashley is tempted to follow her to the US, perhaps his old England team-mate David Beckham could fix him up with a trial at his team Los Angeles Galaxy.

Sarah Jessica Parker gives Sex and the City prequel the green light

Sarah Jessica Parker has given her blessing to Blake Lively starring in a Sex And The City prequel – but she will not be wearing her Manolo Blahniks to play Carrie Bradshaw.

Instead SJP wants Gossip Girl actress Blake, 23, to join the cast as man-eater Samantha.

‘Ideally Sarah would like someone like Elizabeth Olsen to take on the role as Carrie,’ says an insider.

‘What producers don’t want is anyone too famous so there’s no rivalry on set.’

Writer Candace Bushnell is putting together a Sex And The City 3 script and has already pinpointed squeaky-clean Disney star Selena Gomez, 18, to take on the role as Charlotte.

Beyonce got into the spirit of Scotland when she starred at T In The Park in Perthshire last weekend – by asking organisers for a £180 bottle of Glengoyne malt whisky.

‘Beyonce personally thanked them for the whisky,’ says a spy.

‘She had an entourage of 100, but the only other demands she made were for white sofas and a florist to make her festival space more “beautiful and relaxed”.

Troubled Amy Winehouse plans to quit the UK and live once again in St Lucia.

Amy, above, was pictured looking tired and unhappy last week after cancelling her comeback tour following a disastrous appearance in Belgrade.

Caribbean escape: Amy Winehouse is planning to quit Britain for St Lucia

Now I’m told the 27-year-old will return to the Caribbean island she made her home in 2009 after her first major breakdown.

‘St Lucia is her haven away from temptations. She loves the laid-back lifestyle without the pressures,’ says a pal. ‘She has all but given up on music for the time being.’

Prince William’s favourite pop star Tinie Tempah likes to rap about his glamorous lifestyle, so onlookers were surprised to see him catching up with friend David Haye – at Marks & Spencer.

A spy spotted the pair sharing a fruit salad at the M&S store at Gatwick Airport shortly after Haye, 30, lost his world heavyweight boxing showdown with Wladimir Klitschko in Hamburg.

‘Tinie certainly wasn’t living the high life when he had a chinwag with David. Seeing them at M&S at Gatwick was just bizarre.’

The Earl of Durham and his lovely wife Marina Hanbury did not meet, as I said last month, when Marina was sharing a flat with the Earl’s son, Fred, Viscount Lambton.

In fact the couple, now expecting a baby, were family friends and Marina’s flat share was with the Earl’s nephew, Tom Naylor Leyland.

Also, Fred was only friends with Marina’s sister Rose, not engaged to her. Happy to clear that up!

Work of art or a pervert's paradise? Risqué 26ft statue of Marilyn Monroe is unveiled in the Windy City

By Amy Oliver

That pose, that dress, the blonde hair, the luscious lips ...

A 26-foot tall statue of Marilyn Monroe towering above tourists in the middle of Chicago was unveiled on Friday to much applause.

Bemused shoppers stopped and stared, a boy tried to crawl up her leg and the men from a wedding party could not resist taking a few photos from all angles.

Scroll down for videos

High and mighty: The curious gather around Seward Johnson's 26ft sculpture of Marilyn Monroe in Chicago

Desperate to keep her identity a secret until Friday, workers who put the statue in place on Thursday had to put a rather unsightly cloth bag over the poor girl's head, albeit it one in red, white and blue.

The statue, by artist Seward Johnson, replicates the actress's famous subway scene in 1955 film The Seven Year Itch and was unveiled on Chicago's Pioneer Court.

In the scene Monroe stands over a subway grate as a breeze from a train passing below blows her skirt over her panties.

It was shot in New York but as the Windy City, Chicago seems like the second best location for such an art work.

Cameras at the ready: While their wives and girlfriends were not there, the men from a wedding party took scores of photos from all different angles

Now THAT'S a Kodak moment! Or at least an iPhone moment

Simply irresistible: A cheeky boy tries to scale her leg while some really enjoy the rear views

It will be on show through the Spring of 2012.

The stainless steel and aluminium sculpture, which weighs a whopping 34,000lbs, has raised more than a few eyebrows.

Not least because visitors to the plaza are at once confronted with Monroe's pert bottom in gleaming white panties and her perfect pins bedecked in white, open-toe kitten heels.

Covered up: A worker puts the finishing touches to the statue on Thursday

What did you do at work today darling? One man touches up the statue's under carriage with paint

Breathtaking views: A worker is seen spraying the statue's panties before the great unveiling on Friday

You missed a bit: Well, Monroe always did have men at her feet

Men have been spotted gawping while their wives get cross and attempt to shield their eyes and lots of people have stopped to take a quick snap of the giantess before she goes public tomorrow.

Not all are happy of course. Abraham Ritchie wrote on Art Chicago Blog the statue was a 'creepy schlock from a fifth-rate sculptor that blights a first-rate public art collection.'

But the Zeller Realty Group, which owns the plaza and now its statue, wants Marilyn to make people think.

...And the real thing: Monroe cools off via the subway in front of Tom Ewell in The Seven Year Itch

'(Paul Zeller) likes to bring in things that cause a conversation,' said a spokesman from the company. 'They might be controversial, but he likes art that makes people think.'

And if that fails at least her skirt will be a good place to shelter from the rain.

Watch the statue midway through construction
