At first we thought this looked a little boxy on her, but the more we look at it, the more we like the somewhat loose fit. We suspect that dress can go twee in a second, depending on who's wearing it and how they're wearing it. Cynthia's got just the right vibe - urban, chic, mature, low key - to make this dress look sophisticated rather than like a gift bag. We're not super-crazy about the askew neckline, but that's the only real design issue we have. Hair and makeup look great; jewelry is appropriately toned down so as not to fight with the dress; and the shoes... well, she can't get everything right, can she? We would have insisted on sandals with this dress. Pumps interfere with the springtime, garden party look of the dress.
