Darlings, Amber Riley of Glee got her very first fashion editorial and it's in Essence magazine. And you know what?

They freaking NAILED it.

She looks amazing. Love the fuchsia shoes with the silver dress. We don't want to focus too much on the "She's a big girl in a magazine!" aspect of it, but we simply must applaud the stylist on this shoot, because they really know how to dress a big girl to her best effect. Amber's sisters in big fabulosity should take note.

Amber's inspiration for this shoot was Chaka Khan, and we can't really see that except in the bustier getup:

Honestly, this may be the very best Glee actor editorial (and there have been more than a few in the last year) we've ever seen. She really looks amazing.
