About the Author
 Shana Connell Noyes is a lawyer who lives in Southern California. She worked as a consultant to actor Julia Roberts and director Alan J. Pakula on the film The Pelican Brief. She is also the author of Acing Your First Year of Law School and the mother of two small children.

My Take on the Book
Our kids get old too quickly and as we get older (yes it is going to happen) we sometimes forget some of the small, but important things that they think, feel and say.

This book allows parents to take those special moments and to remember them. It poses a ton of great questions to start dialogues with your kids about important issues and simply fun things as well.

This is definitely a book that will bring you and your child closer together and I know that I look forward to using this further with my own kids. I even think it would be interesting to use these questions at different points in their formative years and then sharing this with them when they are either in or just out of college.

I highly recommend this book. Not only is it great for you as a parent, but also for your children as well!
