At about 6 a.m. Thursday morning Cook settled for $2.1 million and visitation rights. Brinkley came out ahead with full custody and complete ownership of all 18 properties in the Hamptons, according to her attorney, Robert Cohen.
"I'm really glad today that we found some peace. It's a very bittersweet moment. It really is the death of the marriage," said Brinkley.
Cook was pleased with the terms of the settlement. He had this to say:
"I got everything I've been wanting for 2 years."
