Robin Williams will host three comedy shows at Acme Comedy Club in Minneapolis, MN this week. Williams will use this opportunity to tweak his skills before his big show in Las Vegas. His Las Vegas show will be on May 25, 2008 at MGM Grand.
Tickets went on sale Monday, May 5 at 10 am with three shows scheduled Tuesday, May 6 through Thursday, May 8. The shows are at 8:00 p.m. and tickets cost $50 each. The tickets are also available on the Ticket Web website, located at TicketWeb.com.
The Minneapolis website for Craigslist offered as much as $100 per ticket to anyone willing to sell tickets, but Acme posted a warning Monday afternoon against buying tickets from scalpers, citing a lack of authenticity. According to the Acme Comedy Club website, it is one of the top five comedy clubs in the country.
If you are in the area the next couple of days, get your tickets before they are all sold out. Knowing how zany Robin Williams is on television he must really put on a show Live, without the "censor police" present. Come back to this blog on Friday and leave a comment for us to read. Tell us if you think Robin Williams still has what it takes for Las Vegas.
