Mariah Carey, singer, songwriter, and Diva of our time, put on a great concert Friday, April 26, 2006. It was sponsored by Good Morning America (GMA) In New York City. Later that day, New York honored Mariah with lighting, in her favorite color scheme (Pink and Lavender), the top of the Empire State Building. This was done to celebrate her new album. And, they probably were celebrating her new status as surpassing Elvis Presley as the solo artist with the most #1 singles. She has 18 #1 Hits! Now... that's something to celebrate!!!

Star Jones Files for Divorce | Releases Statement

Start Jones announced today that she has filed for divorce from her husband, Al Reynolds. The two were maired for three and a half years.

This is the statement Star Jones released to Access Hollywood:

"Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman."

Now, all we have to do is wait and see if the rumors are true about her little "fling" with Dwayne Wade.

Miley Cyrus Underwear Photos Hit the Net!

This is the second time in six months semi-sexy photos of Miley Cyrus have surfaced on the internet. This time the emphasis is on her underwear. The Disney Star is a teenager. Almost 16, Miley is making the transformation from "tween" queen to "teen" queen. Parents be warned: Your kids can continue to look up to Miley, but she is not responsible for their actions.

At this point, there's no need to panic. She is a teenager. Teenagers must express themselves. That helps them grow into healthy adults. Let's all take a 'chill pill.'

Who Got Voted Off American Idol | April 10

After 31 million votes were cast, the largest number this season according to Ryan Seacrest, Michael Johns came up short. He had the lowest number of votes. Michael Johns was voted off American Idol, Thursday, April 10, 2008.

The bottom 3, on Thursday, were Carly, Syesha, and Michael. Everybody thought either Carly or Syesha would be the one voted off. They were surprised and if you saw this live you saw the stunned look on Michael's face. He looked as though he just didn't believe it. But, he had to accept it, regain his composure, and sing his farewell song.

Beyonce and Jay-Z on vacation in Mexico

By now everyone knows it to be true that Beyonce and Jay-Z tied the knot in New York City on Friday evening. A source close to the couple had already spilled the beans. But, we haven't heard from Beyonce and Jay-Z to make it official true gossip.

It was reported by the reliable source that Jay-Z wanted a private ceremony with only close friends and family attending. The star-studded guests included members from the Destiny Child group, Gwyneth Pathrow, and Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay.



The wedding theme was "all-white" and the wedding ceremony was followed by a lavish party at Jay-Z's penthouse apartment in New York City's TriBeca neighborhood. It was decorated with 60,000 blooming white orchids, shipped from Thailand, and the number "4" which represented Beyonce and Jay-Z's birthday numbers.

Jay-Z, 38, and Beyonce, 26 have been romantically involved since 2002. They never admitted to being a couple, but were photographed together at several locations nationally and internationally.

Sounds like they have a stable relationship and it looks like they will have a very happy marriage. It would be good to see the two have a healthy and long-lasting marriage. Congratulations to Beyonce and Jay-Z!
